............Create A Memory.............
From the moment you step into this beautiful three-story home, feelings of peace and relaxation begin to take over. Glancing up from the dock, you can observe how closely the house resembles a ship's bridge. Whether you are sitting on the deck and listening to the delightful sounds of a nearby waterfall or sitting in front of the gazebo fireplace, you can feel the burdens of life lighten. Take a walk down the tree-lined road leading to the dock and notice how the faces on the trees smile back at you. Savor a cup of Grady's special brewed coffee on the terrace and eat the specialty breakfast on the deck overlooking the lake. Enjoy the bundle of fresh cut flowers that Grady adds to brighten up your room. Delight in the limited use of Grady's golf cart. Indulge yourself in the spacious seven-person hot tub. Gather around the warmth of the fire pit. Most importantly... Grady invites you to "Come... Create A Memory!"

Fresh fruit in season, a variety of fruit juices, scrambled eggs, ham, french toast with bananas and special syrup, Grady's special yogurt dish, and fried potatoes that can't be beat are among the foods that might be on the menu for your stay. Of course there is always fresh ground specialty coffee.
Lewis Smith Lake
Smith lake provides an astonishing array of scenery. White and pink Laurel decorate the bluffs in spring, while gnarled short needle pines cling tenaciously to exposed rock. Falls splash from fern covered ledges. The beauty of the whites, pinks, and lavenders of spring are matched only by the gold, crimson, and oranges of fall. The lake is a 21,200 acre man-made lake that bounds three counties in North Alabama with 500 miles of shoreline. In places the depth can reach 264 feet. It is home to 70 species of fish. Towns, bridges, and forests lay beneath it's crystal waters. Smith lake is ranked as the 2nd cleanest lake in the United States only behind Lake Tahoe.
